A summer job as a busboy in 1966 at the prestigious Harrison Hot Springs Hotel launched a remarkable 46-year career in the hospitality industry. That first taste of the restaurant business sparked a lifelong passion that took him across BC, to Banff and Niagara Falls.
His career was defined by dedication and an unwavering commitment to excellence. He left lasting impressions wherever he worked including English Bay Café, PJ Burger & Sons, the Spectra Group and abc Country Restaurants. As a devoted member of the BCRFA board for nearly a decade – including a term as Chairman – he played a vital role in shaping the industry’s future.
His legacy is woven through every role he held and every person he mentored. His story is not just one of professional success, but of a life spent bringing people together – one meal at a time.
