Alan Howie

Alan has worked in restaurants for over 32 years.  He started out his career as a Chartered Accountant and was first introduced to the industry White Spot where he worked for over 15 years.  He then worked as a senior executive at Boston Pizza in Toronto.  Since 2018, Alan has led the Northland Restaurant Group which has over 180 restaurants in Canada, the US, and the UK and has brands such as Moxies, Chop Steakhouse, Denny’s and Shark Club.  The group also has a fine dining division with restaurants such as Boulevard Kitchen and Oyster Bar, Wild Blue and Published on Main.
