Tannis Ling

Tannis Ling’s passion for food was nurtured at a young age, shaped by her parents and Vancouver’s rich culinary landscape. Her journey took her to the Cayman Islands, where she began working in hotel restaurants and then to London, honing her skills behind the bar. Back in Vancouver, after five formative years at Chambar, she opened the acclaimed Bao Bei in 2010, followed by Michelin-starred Kissa Tanto in 2016, and Meo in 2024 with partners, Joël Watanabe and Alain Chow.
